Taylor Fritz‘s girlfriend Morgan Riddle has let her displeasure known over the frequent downpour in Paris. Accompanying her boyfriend at Roland Garros, Riddle has found herself unprepared on how to deal with the gloomy French weather. But now her mother has come to her rescue and emailed her an itinerary of what to do while the weather was making her feel “depressed.”
Morgan Riddle recently took to her official Instagram to share the snippets of her Paris adventure. In her story, fans spotted Riddle sharing a screenshot of an email sent by her mother to help her out in breaking her boredom. The email read, “Here is a plan for some spare time in Paris. Sauna. Nap. Sign up for a morning barre class or some other fitness class.”

Riddle has expressed her frustrations with the weather conditions in Paris since the tournament began. Previously one fan uploaded a video of Riddle facing the harsh rain while attending Fritz’s third round match against Federico Coria. Wearing a black trench coat she tried to cover her head with her hand as it rained down. In the video the fan wrote, “No no! the weather doesn’t match with this it Girl Hi @moorgs.” Sharing the video, Riddle expressed her regret, “Lesson learned always bring an umbrella to RG,” while also sharing two crying emojis that showcased her feelings about Paris’s weather recently.
Paris’s cloudy weather has taken a toll on almost everyone. Matches have been frequently affected with the players and fans expressing dissatisfaction over the scheduling. Fritz’s third round victory over Australia’s Thanasi Kokkinakis was completed in nearly four hours after a topsy-turvy encounter was marred by rain interruptions.
Not just Fritz, other players suffered immensely due to rain as matches in outdoor courts halted. While Sebastian Korda’s girlfriend Ivana Nedved took a dig at the situation by sharing her partner’s victory after two days, Zizou Berg’s father criticized the tour committee for not posting matches and leaving players in uncertainty by halting matches in the rain. Berg’s match against Alexander Zverev in the court 14 was suspended.
However, Riddle also expressed her happiness over the better weather in Paris following a week of heavy rains that caused many match delays and affected the tournament’s schedule. The clear sky and sunshine on Monday led to a shift Riddle’s mood. She then apologized for her earlier criticism of the city’s weather in the caption of an Instagram story photo she had shared of the blue sky. “I would like to formally apologize to the city of paris for every bad thing i said about you this week (the sun is out so im not depressed anymore),” Riddle wrote.
Despite the weather challenges Riddle has been cheering up fans by sharing snippets from the tour’s lavish hotel and her morning “dream girl” look. Even before her mother’s itinerary, Riddle had found her own way around Paris
