Canadian tennis player Felix Auger-Aliassime had a rough start to the French Open 2023 tournament. Facing defeat in the first round is never ideal for anyone. For the 3 youngest player in the top 10 of the ATP, it was a reality check. Felix lost the first round at Roland Garros to Fabio Fognini. The loss came as a shock not only to his fans but to himself as well. However, his disappointing outing in the Parisian clay hadn’t dampened his spirits, as he decided to take some much-needed time off.

Felix’s idea of time off is definitely an amazing and lavish vacation which he could not resist boasting about on social media.

A straight-set defeat is not how Felix envisioned his first round at the French Open 2023 to be. A 6-4, 6-4, 6-3 loss unfolding against Fabio on Monday, May 29, caused his confidence to stoop really low. In one of his interviews, he also revealed his reason for not being able to play well. He said he was sick one night before the game. The Canadian superstar also mentioned having an issue with his shoulder, but his primary performance decline reason was that he felt unwell the night before the match.

Owing to how badly he performed in his first-round exit, he decided to take some time off and enjoy. A vacation is what came to his rescue. He recently posted some pictures on Instagram on a beach with his dog and his girlfriend, Nina Ghaibi, at Plage de Buse. The pictures consist of him and his girlfriend in beach attire having a gala time under the sun.

Of course, after such a tremendous loss, Felix’s fans were heartbroken. But nonetheless, once they saw his posts on Instagram about his vacation, they all came to support him and wrote sweet comments for him as well.
