Is Djokovic's TikTok fun a distraction or a genius way to ease pre-match tension?

From playing violin on the Grass courts to dancing with tennis fans in Serbia after claiming his Olympic gold, Novak Djokovic never forgets to have fun. As things have finally fallen into place for the Serbian ace after a troublesome knee injury, he is in a happy mood. After an early exit at the US Open, the 24-time Grand Slam champion will be in action at the Davis Cup. But before the on-court battle, Djokovic didn’t forget to have a bit of a dance while getting ready for the challenge against Greece!

Djokovic’s announcement, “It might be the last one in front of the home crowd in Davis Cup,” took the tennis world by storm. However, after joining the Serbian team ahead of their clash against Greece, Djoker seems ready to enjoy. Though it’s unclear whether the Serbian maestro will retire anytime soon, what’s certainly clear is that he will be having fun throughout his remaining career now.

The fun starts with the Davis Cup, and this post is proof. A tennis enthusiast posted Djokovic’s TikTok update on X, featuring a video of the World No.4 dancing to a song on a treadmill before going back to walking and warming. The caption read, “Nole on his TikTok account. Fun way to prepare the matches vs Greece.”

Djokovic’s participation in the Davis Cup is a heart-warming moment for Serbia. His popularity knows no bounds in his nation. According to his former coach, Boris Becker, “I don’t know if you understand the importance of Novak Djokovic in Serbia. He can be president.” However, it seems Djokovic wants to dance his way through the circuit until the very end!

The year might have ended without a Grand Slam for the Serbian ace. But his aim for the season ‘Olympic Gold’ was achieved as he beat Carlos Alcaraz in Paris.

And his performance in the final just cemented the thoughts of the doubters, as he was no match to Carlos Alcaraz.

However, for Djokovic, the main event of the season was always the Paris Olympics, as he was desperately looking for that elusive gold medal. And when the occasion arrived, he showed the world why he is considered one of the greatest players of all time.

Recounting his season during an interview before the Davis Cup, the Serb said, “Every year is a challenge for me. Gold was the main goal of this season, everything I’ve been in my Olympic career so far and those defeats that have affected me, taking everything into account, it’s the biggest success and something I’m most proud of.”

After achieving his dream of winning an Olympic gold medal in 2023, the Belgrade-born star is now ready to help Serbia in the Davis Cup. But how long will he continue playing? Well, he seems good to go for another couple of years, but will his fitness permit? What do you think?
