Daniil Medvedev shares her daughter’s angry side
Daniil Medvedev recently shared an amusing insight into his daughter’s personality. He revealed how her moments of anger often leave him reflecting on himself. “If something doesn’t go her way, then she throws a toy in anger or bites it,” Medvedev shared. “My wife is looking at me saying, ‘Okay, where does it come from?’ And that’s pretty funny because you start asking yourself if it’s just pure genetics and I don’t have an answer to this question.”
Medvedev’s comments come as no surprise to tennis fans who have often witnessed his fiery reactions during matches. His competitive spirit has often boiled over in moments of frustration. During the King’s Cup in Riyadh, Medvedev smashed his racket after a disappointing loss to Jannik Sinner (6-1, 6-4). A similar scene unfolded at the ATP Finals against Taylor Fritz, where Medvedev broke his racket after double-faulting on a crucial break point, eventually losing 6-4, 6-3.
