The start of the 2023 Wimbledon Championships has been far from ideal. Fans have been critical of the rain delays and poor scheduling in the opening couple of days. The organizers have now been forced to schedule over 80 singles matches today. After another short delay on Day 3, we are finally seeing some regular action on the courts of SW 19. But, the misery does not end here.

It seems like the Wimbledon security has failed too. The ‘Just Stop Oil’ Protests have been disrupting sporting events across Europe recently, especially in the UK. Despite alerting the security of the potential threat, Wimbledon became the victim of these protests on the third day. The fans were certainly not pleased with Wimbledon failing to live up to expectations.

A fan also suggested how the puzzle pieces would camouflage on clay if it happened on dirt.

A twitter user assumed the puzzle pieces were mini-carrots.

One of the users mentioned how the protest group alerted Wimbledon of a potential pitch invasion and how the security still could not stop them.

However, Wimbledon took the required measures against the protestors as the act of vandalism is against the rules.
