Tennis demands every ounce of physical strength, and sustaining in the sport becomes difficult as the player ages. But Novak Djokovic, on the other hand, is only getting better with age.

With Federer already retired and Rafael Nadal struggling with injuries, Djokovic is the only active ‘Big 3’ player to defeat his peers and youngsters alike. As Djoker is on his path of creating histories and smashing records, he achieved yet another rare milestone which his wife celebrated on Twitter.

Jelena Djokovic proved that she is the biggest fan and cheerleader for the Serb

A Djoker fan on Twitter shared the series of his achievements, stressing the importance of 23rd July. Jelena reshared the tweet on her account and tagged Djokovic to let the world know how proud she is of the Serb’s glory. From his first title in the career to his 23rd Slam and 35th Wimbledon Championship finals, Jelena stuck with the 36-year-old and supported him like a rock.

The Serb won his first ATP title in 2006 by defeating Nicolas Massu in straight sets and navigated his way to the top of the ladder. He remained one of the best-ever players for 17 years and still counting. The tweet read, From No. 1 in Amersfoort to No. 94 in Paris, 17 years of Novak Djokovic greatness!

The relationship between Jelena and Djoker started way before he became a professional. They were high school sweethearts who had been together for more than two decades. Djokovic never loses an opportunity to show his gratitude and affection. He credits a part of his glorious career to his wife and family.

Novak Djokovic once revealed that marriage and kids are the way to succeed

After the Serb claimed this third Wimbledon title, he said, “Whether I’m winning or losing, she’s (Jelena Djokovic) always there. Family’s always there.” He also added, “Ever since I got married and became a father, I haven’t lost many matches, I won many tournaments. I suggest that to every player, ‘Get married, have kids, let’s enjoy this.’ “

Djokovic said that he is just a dad when he goes home to his family, and this balance makes him strong and motivated to do more. After winning the fourth round of the Australian Open 2023, the Serb shared his dream of playing doubles with his son, Stefan, who loves Tennis. As for his daughter, Tara, he said she is not into the game but loves ballet and gymnastics.

Tara’s looks are Djokovic’s greatest adoration, as he puts his guard down when he is with her. He shared that his daughter is really cute and helps him stay humble and grounded. Since the kids did not attend the match, the Serb missed them after his victory against Alex De Minaur. The 36-year-old became was almost moved to tears after the match. Even in the recent Wimbledon tournament, Djokovic frequently appreciated the support of his wife and kids.
