The world of tennis, besides giving glory, name, and fame to a player, balances out the praises with random acts of disrespect. In the Paris Masters, one such act of disrespect took place, leaving everyone astonished. Novak Djokovic, the Serbian tennis legend, faced an unusual challenge during a crucial match. As he was playing in Bercy, France, the crowd in the stadium, instead of cheering, started booing him after he made a mistake in the third set.

Despite the crowd going against him, Djokovic didn’t let the negative reaction make him lose his cool. Being already prone to such acts, the Serb stayed focused on the game. This unexpected turn of events made his fans do the talking, and they brutally criticized the French crowd.

In a thrilling tennis match against Tallon Griekspoor, Serbian tennis legend Novak Djokovic held his patience when the French crowd booed him after a double fault in the third set. The pressure was on Djokovic as he faced a decisive moment in the match, but he didn’t let the crowd’s reaction affect his game. Instead of getting nervous or distracted, Djokovic managed to maintain his focus, and something extraordinary happened.

Not only did he not lose a single point after the boos, but he went on to win the match with remarkable skill and precision. The Serbian tennis sensation’s ability to stay cool under pressure left both fans and experts in awe.

Djokovic’s fans being as tough as the legend is, were quick to support their favorite player, taking to social media to defend his side and criticize the French crowd. The trail of fan reactions that followed the incident showed the passion with which his fanbase supports him. A fan, questioning the cause of the audience response over the double fault, mentioned, “I will never understand applauding a double fault.”

Slamming the French audience’s reaction, a fan commented, “That’s exceptionally bad behavior at tennis match even for Paris.”

Another fan, coming up with a sarcastic approach to slam the French crowd, mentioned, “Add this to the already sizable list of “Novak vs crowd” moments.”

As the reactions kept flowing in! A Djokovic fan came in with an argumentative response as he said, “What are the French good for anyway? Any ideas? They are sore losers.”

The trolling over the French crowd continued as another fan said, “Booing is a national sport for French fans, bunch of classless clowns.”

Djokovic fans, being loyal to their icon, took a bold stand as always against the disrespectful act by the French crowd at the Paris Masters. However, this wasn’t the first time the Serb was booed. Earlier this year, he experienced the same treatment in Roland Garros and opened up about the same later.

Djokovic’s reaction to the booing act by the fans

The fan booing isn’t something that the 24-time Grand Slam champion Novak Djokovic is experiencing anew. Many incidents throughout his career brought him against similar situations and, therefore, the Serb once took his chance to share his thoughts over it.

Previously at the French Open this year, the crowd similarly booed Djokovic. “There are people — there are groups or whatever — that love to boo every single thing you do. That’s something that I find disrespectful and I frankly don’t understand that,” said Djokovic, annoyed by the confusing act from the French crowd.
