Rising tennis star Carlos Alcaraz is currently setting his sights on securing the largest contract in tennis history with sportswear giant Nike. While his current contract is set to expire in 2025, the Spanish star is planning to level up his status in the sport and secure a deal that would surpass even the impressive 10-year, 15 million per-season contract signed by Jannik Sinner.

Alcaraz’s team, led by manager Albert Molina, is involved in the planning to capitalize on the player’s recent achievements, including reaching the number one ranking along with lifting two Grand Slam titles. Despite Sinner’s notable achievements at such a young age, including his recent Australian Open win, Alcaraz still stands to be in the lead in both rankings and accomplishments.

With a target to set his status as the top earner with Nike in tennis, reports say that Alcaraz is aiming to negotiate a groundbreaking 20 million per season deal with the brand. This will not only make it the highest-paid deal but will also leave Sinner’s 15-Million deal behind. As Carlos Alcaraz presented a swift defeat to Sinner at the Indian Wells semi-finals, it still remains to be seen if he defeats him in the financial numbers as well.

Alcaraz’s growing mark in the world of brands and collaborations

Nike isn’t the only brand that understands the value of Carlos Alcaraz’s presence. Besides this, the young Spaniard also collaborated with famous fashion and apparel brand Louis Vuitton, adding a major achievement to his portfolio.
