Tennis players are the prime targets of brands around the world. Their global reach, in general, encompasses millions, making them the perfect targets for campaigns by various brands. Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner are the current big names in tennis from the new generation. The two youngsters might become the next faces of the sport, and brands certainly foresee that. As they prepare to possibly face off in an intense bout at the China Open soo, the duel might not be limited to the court only.
Their face-off is also a bout between two of the most iconic fashion brands in the world. Each player is endorsed by a major luxury house, for which tennis has, of late, become a lucrative foray into. Thus, the match could very well be a showdown between Jannik Sinner’s Gucci and Carlos Alcaraz’s Louis Vuitton.

The 22-year-old Italian player is a big prospect in tennis and has brand deals that only prove that further. Currently, he has nine brands endorsing him, with Gucci, worth $17.8 billion in 2023, being his biggest sponsor. The details of Jannik Sinner’s Gucci deal haven’t been shared with the public. But Sinner and the Italian fashion brand have maintained a strong bond since they signed together last year.?
This year at the Wimbledon, Sinner flaunted his Gucci partnership. The Italian made a statement by using a custom-made bag in brown and gold with green and red straps to turn the All England Club’s Centre Court into a catwalk. However, it did not serve as a diversion. Due to Wimbledon’s rigorous all-white restrictions, he did describe the bag as “quite a statement.” It wasn’t simple to pull off such an act, either, with a Gucci spokeswoman stating that several hoops had to be leaped through to make sure the bag met the conditions of the tournament.
In addition to his sparkling deal with Gucci, he also signed a deal with Nike in 2019, and the American apparel brand provides him with clothing and shoes for his matches. Sinner is also a brand ambassador for Head, Rolex, Gucci, Lavazza, Alfa Romeo, FASTWEB, Technogym, and Parmigiano Reggiano.
Carlos Alcaraz and his LV luxury endorsement deal
Carlos Alcaraz, being a shining star of the current generation and the one to destroy Novak Djokovic‘s streak in Wimbledon, will attract a plethora of sponsors. One of his biggest endorsements, which came to fruition this year, happened after his second Grand Slam win. Alcaraz’s Louis Vuitton endorsement came after his stellar Wimbledon victory and thus began a new era for the player.
As the Louis Vuitton brand ambassador helps the French fashion company launch its spring/summer 2024 formalwear campaign, he takes his tennis plays off the court and into an opulent grand hall. All the while, he wears perfect tailoring and luxurious loungewear. Louis Vuitton signed on Alcaraz for a reported $27.25 million and has become one of his biggest sponsors.
Talking about his experience on the set, Alcaraz said, “It was a bit surreal being in a palace wearing a Louis Vuitton suit,?but [photographer] Dan Jackson and his team were amazing. Once we got into it, we had a lot of fun.” But While a lucrative deal, the $379.32 billion is not the only one securing the player.
According to Brand Finance, Carlos Alcaraz is earning the highest from his contract with BMW. The German luxury vehicle company pays him a whopping $33.29 million during a multi-year contract. Nike follows the auto company with another big fat deal of $32.53 million.
