With Jack Draper’s withdrawal from the fourth-round match at the 2025 AO, Carlos Alcaraz has now moved into the last eight at Melbourne Part for the second successive year. Draper was forced to retire from the match due to an injury when he was trailing 7-5,6-1 against the four-time Grand Slam champion on an extremely hot day. These forced retirements are sights that tennis fans would never want to see. However, amid all these, there was a moment during the match when we saw Carlos Alcaraz drawing massive fan attention.

What really happened, though? Well, the Rod Laver Arena literally erupted with a massive roar after seeing Carlos Alcaraz go shirtless after his match against Draper. Fans were seen taking pictures of him, whistling at him, and even some of the ladies inside the stadium visibly were like “wow” after seeing the Spaniard’s incredible physique.

Is it the first time, though that we’re seeing Carlos Alcaraz making the headlines with his shirtless look? Well, in 2022, he was spotted showcasing his immense physical development in a photo shoot for Men’s Health Spain magazine. Even at that time, several fans came out in numbers to show their love and affection for Carlitos’. After that, in 2023, he yet again impressed his fans with his sculpted physique during his daylight practice session in Cincinnati.

Even last year, Carlos Alcaraz’s hunky look sent tennis fans into a wild frenzy in Cincinnati. Beads of sweat gleamed on his chiseled body as he played, demonstrating his commitment to and hard work in his craft. Alcaraz’s incredible physicality, along with his picture-perfect tennis skills, has often earned him the tag of a “complete player.

In 2024, during a previous interview with La Sexta, Rafael Nadal said, “He (Alcaraz) is very good and very young. Let’s see how he manages it and how his body responds. Carlos has an incredible level of tennis. He is a super complete player. I don’t see any weaknesses in him for his age like I had.

Even Matteo Berrettini once said, “It feels unbelievable if you think about it, what he [Carlos Alcaraz] achieved in such a short time. I remember playing him in Australia at the beginning of the year and I played him in Rio as well, and I felt he is a great player but what he did is still impressive for his age. The physicality he already has and everything, also mentally it’s not easy to deal with everything that he dealt with, so it’s impressive.” So, Alcaraz getting praised for his incredible physicality is nothing new! What did Carlos Alcaraz say to Jack Draper after the Brit’s forced withdrawal from their recent match, though?
