Doping tests at the tournaments have been a common feature according to the guidelines of the World Anti-Doping Agency. Following the global bodies, tennis has its own body named the International Tennis Integrity Agency (ITIA) which monitors any positive doping cases and provides rulings in those matters.
Meanwhile, Alcaraz has been a victim of such strange incidents before as well. During the US Open last year, he was seen taking some mysterious pills during a changeover. This happened during his match against Daniel Evans. This raised eyebrows of fans and many were suspecting as to what those pills were.
