Carlos Alcaraz writes a strong note on the camera
Recently, after defeating the Russian tennis player, Daniil Medvedev in the championship round of the Masters 1000 event, Alcaraz defended his Indian Wells title in style. Even after making it to the final and semi-final rounds of the various tournaments in the past few months, achieving the tournament victory was just a step away, but it kept on getting further and further. Since Wimbledon, it’s been eight months and a tournament victory looked impossible.
After the most-awaited victory, the world’s number two-ranked tennis player finally won the Indian Wells title and wrote the motivational chant that he has been believing in as a player. He wrote, “CCC, Love U, Indian Wells.” The CCC holds an important place in the two-time Grand Slam Champion’s life.

However, this is not the first time he has written these words on camera, these 3 letters, or something quite close to his heart, and he has talked about them openly and the motivation they bring into his life. For a very long time, he has been writing these letters on camera, but for the past few months, as achieving big victories looked like a far-fetched goal, the tradition has been kind of on hold.
Not only that he has also gotten the CCC which stands for Cabeza, Corazón y Cojones, meaning “Head, Heart and Balls.” tattooed on his hand. Subsequently, when he achieved his first victory years ago, he highlighted the importance of these 3Cs.
The importance of CCC in Alcaraz’s life
Back in 2022, the 20-year-old Spaniard got a tattoo for himself, and in the same year, he highlighted how the 3Cs became a part of his life. Grand Slam winner Carlos Alcaraz pays moving homage to his grandfather by sticking to a motto that has been a big part of his life. He revealed this moving revelation a few years back at his historic moment at the ATP Masters 1000 in Miami, where he claimed his first-ever career victory.

He stated, “My grandfather always told me to focus on the Three Cs: head, heart, and balls.” This wise counsel, captured in one succinct sentence, is a beacon for the Spaniard as it resonates with the spirit of tenacity, fervor, and bravery that his grandfather imbued in him.
