Carlos Alcaraz claimed his maiden French Open title with murmurs of forehand injury. Despite not being at his 100% he crushed Alexander Zverev’s challenge on the clay court in the final. And the World No.2 would now get more dangerous on the court with his recovery! Yes, the defending champion is back on grass to claim his Wimbledon trophy. Though for the first time in decades, the Wimbledon would commence without any of the Big3. It’s anybody’s court to challenge, as Alcaraz looks forward to extending his streak.

In a fresh tennis update on X, a page shared a snippet of Alcaraz practice on the grass at the Queen’s Club. However, there was something amiss in the picture, to the delight of the fans. The prominent forehand sleeve has disappeared, pointing towards the Spaniard’s recovery. The forum confirmed the speculation, saying, “Alcaraz no longer needing the sleeve he wore at Roland Garros. Not surprising, given his forehand seemed back to normal there.”

The presence of doubts overshadowed Alcaraz’s French Open campaign, all because of his forehand sleeve. It was unclear as to how far the Spaniard got through. As he struggled to overcome the quarterfinals, the 21-year-old started to groove into his rhythm during the semifinal match against Jannik Sinner. And since then he hasn’t looked back! If anything the World No.2 is deemed to be more threatening to any challenger than before.
