Talking about the secret to his success, he said, “I mean, I always say that I’m playing better with a smile on my face, and points like this one, doesn’t matter if I win it or lose it, it put a smile on my face anyways. I think it helps me to keep improving my game in the match and showing my best tennis. I don’t know if it’s anticipation, fast, I don’t know, I think a mix of both. But sometimes I do it pretty well.“Alcaraz defeated Daniil Medvedev by 7-6(5),6-1 in the finals.

With this victory, he has now also become the second men’s player after Rafael Nadal to win 5 or more Masters 1000 titles before turning 21. What did he say after this emphatic victory?
