21-year old Sebastian Korda is one of the popular younger stars on the ATP tour. With his impressive performance and skills at the Wimbledon Championships this year, he managed to make a name for himself. He reached the pre-quarters of the tournament
However, he lost to Russian Karen Khachanov. Subsequently, his run at the US Open, too, came to an end rather swiftly. Korda withdrew in the middle of his match against Nikoloz Basilashvili. Thus, his Georgian opponent was victorious by default.
Sebastian Korda meets Tiger Woods

It was a special weekend for Sebastian Korda in Orlando. His older sister Nelly Korda participated in the PNC Championship tour at the Ritz Carlton Club. Moreover, his father Petr Korda was present there too, as the PNC Championship is also called the Father/Son Challenge.
The 2-day tournament is an annual golf tournament for two-player teams. Golfers from the PGA and the Champions Tours come and play with their sons.
Also on the field was arguably the most celebrated golfer of all time, Tiger Woods. Sebastian, who caddied for his LPGA World No. 1 sister Nelly, was on the course as well. The whole family got to meet Tiger Woods, and they clicked photographs with the 15-time major champion.

Sebastian described the experience as ‘unbelievable’, and informed the media that Tiger is one of the family’s favorite sportsmen.
“Meeting Tiger was unbelievable. Any time he would play a tournament, we were all glued to the TV,” he said.
Meeting Woods was ‘unbelievable’ for Sebastian
After Sebastian posted the photographs on Instagram, many of his peers reacted. Spanish World No. 32 Carlos Alcaraz commented on the post through emojis only. “🎾🤝🏌♂️🔝,” his comment read. Thus, it could mean “Tennis meets golf,” before probably encouraging Sebastian to rise to the top of the male rankings.

Additionally, Korda’s compatriot on the ATP Tour, John McNally, too, commented on the post. “So much greatness in one photo,” he wrote. German WTA star Sabine Lisicki commented on the post as well, saying, “This is SOOOO Cool!!! 😎😎😎😎“.
Furthermore, 4-time Grand Slam doubles winner Renae Stubbs, too, called Tiger Woods, Petr, and Sebastian Korda a “world class group.”

Comments kept pouring in, with Maria Sakkari’s tennis coach and part-time golfer Tom Hill praising the photographs as well. Moreover, the ATP official Instagram page made its appreciation known too, with a high-five emoji, “🙌“.
