Ever since tennis legends entered the courts of the latest racket sport that is spreading like wildfire in the US, its popularity among the masses has only increased. After cementing their position as tennis greats, the Hall of Famers, Andre Agassi, Michael Chang, and John McEnroe are once again gearing up to compete in the highly anticipated Pickleball Slam.
In this campaign, the former tennis players are accompanied by their young compatriot, Andy Roddick. However, the 40-year-old, who is at least a decade younger than his peers, revealed he is struggling against the veterans. In doing so, Roddick took a cheeky dig at the American tennis legends.

Some former tennis players have now been lured back to the courts by pickleball to enhance its popularity. The list also includes Andy Roddick, who previously bid adieu to competitive tennis in 2012. In a recent interview with NBC, he spoke about his experience of stepping back into the court of the latest paddle sport.
The former US Open champion is all geared up to square off against ATP Tour veterans Andre Agassi, John McEnroe, and Michael Chang. Pickleball Slam is about to commence, however, Roddick is already struggling against the legends as their game is amplified due to the limited court size.

Roddick said, “We can’t move against the guys that are 10 or 20 years older than me, and my power is negated.”
The 40-year-old might be struggling in pickleball, however, his countrymen are already enjoying the new racket game.

Andre Agassi is mastering the new paddle game
The Hall of Famer is biased towards his old sport, however, he is enjoying his tennis-to-pickleball transition. Speaking of it in an interview, Agassi said transferring his tennis skills to the new paddle game is a really fun thing to do.
Even his compatriot, McEnroe has started to enjoy the new racket sport after a series of trash talks about it. Now, the fans are excited as the former tennis ace will square off against his old rival in the upcoming Pickleball Slam.
