World No.3 Stefanos Tsitsipas recently battled past Grigor Dimitrov in the first round of the Vienna Open 2021. The Greek player defeated his opponent in straight sets and advanced to the second round of the tournament. The final scoreline of the match was 7(8)-6(6), 6-4.
Stefanos Tsitsipas looked quite comfortable during the match and showed signs of no fatigue. He is playing his 20th tournament of the season but even then; he is giving his 100% on the court.

In a recent Instagram post, Tsitsipas opened up about his experience of dealing with interviews. While he believes some interviews test one’s patience, others force an individual to think really out of the box. He even mentioned that there are some interviews that one should not really care about.

“Sometimes interviews can stir your pot. Some can test your patience. And some can leave you blabbering about things you don?t have a care about,” wrote Tsitsipas in the caption of his Instagram post.
In tennis, there is a rule that every tennis player will have to face an interview or a press conference after the match. When Naomi Osaka tried to skip them citing her mental health issues during the time of the French Open 2021, she received a lot of backlash. The Japanese star had to ultimately withdraw from the Grand Slam.

Tsitsipas will face Frances Tiafoe in the second round of the Vienna Open 2021

After advancing to the second round of the Vienna Open 2021, Tsitsipas will lock horns against Frances Tiafoe today. The American began as a qualifier at the tournament and recently defeated Dusan Lajovic in the first round.
Tsitsipas currently leads their head-to-head battle at 2-1. While Tiafoe caused a big upset after defeating Tsitsipas in the first round of the Wimbledon Championships 2021, the Greek took his revenge at the Tokyo Olympics 2020.
