During the quarterfinal encounter, the Italian star felt some discomfort and proceeded toward his chair. A few moments later, he pulled the dustbin and began puking. The incident was caught on camera as an alert cameraman captured the visual. However, after the image went viral on social media, fans started slamming the cameraman for not giving Sinner enough space.
Reacting to Sinner’s image that went viral on Reddit, one fan said, “And the photo is posted here and probably elsewhere on the internet so I’d say it’s not just the cameraperson not giving space :-)”

Meanwhile, one of the netizens called it hypocritical to blame the cameraman for capturing Sinner puking. The fan said, “Helping spread a photo, making it viral, etc. of him at a vulnerable moment? I was not being super serious like you are a terrible person, but blaming the cameraperson while you’re helping spread said image (which is why they get these images, to generate clicks) is a bit hypocritical lol.”
