Novak Djokovic made a comeback to the tour in the clay-court season after keeping out of the circuit for almost the entire hard-court season. Currently, he is competing on the grass courts of London to defend his Wimbledon title. If Djokovic claims the trophy this year, he will win his fourth consecutive Gentlemen’s Singles Trophy.

Considering his domination of the tour over the past decade, it is a fact unknown to none that Djokovic’s movement is one of his prime assets. However, according to Nick Kyrgios, the current ATP No.3 is the best when it comes to court coverage.

Kyrgios about Djokovic’s gameplay

While in an interview with the tennis legend Billie Jean King, the Australian tennis ace spoke about how Djokovic’s agility helps him shine on the tour. When the 12-time Grand Slam champion asked about who according to him was the quickest in men’s tennis, Kyrgios said, “Right now I have to say durable wise and the way he moves Novak for sure is the best athlete mover on tour.”

“I feel like Novak was kind of built for tennis,” he added. The Aussie on Saturday took down the current World No.5 Stefanos Tsitsipas in four sets to enter the last eight of the Wimbledon Championships.

Whereas the 20-time Grand Slam champion, Novak Djokovic, outclassed the Dutch tennis professional Tim van Rijthoven in the round of 16 at Centre Court.

Considering the scintillating form of the 27-year-old Aussie in the ongoing Grand Slam, the chances of Djokovic facing him in the final of the Wimbledon Championships have increased many folds. The Serb himself is performing splendidly. However, if he gets pitted against Kyrgios, it will be interesting to see who comes out on top.

The 35-year-old has locked horns with Kyrgios twice earlier and trails behind in the head-to-head by a score of 0-2. They first met in quarterfinals of the 2017 Mexican Open, where the former world No.13 ended Djokovic’s run in straight sets.
