‘Brutal Expensive’: Tennis Player Shocked To See Exorbitant Ticket Prices for Davis Cup 2022

Jan-Lennard Struff, a German tennis star, gave his country a good lead in the ongoing Davis cup. Struff defeated French’s best man, Benjamin Bonzi, in three sets 6-4, 2-6, and 7-5. The German star is giving outstanding performances this year, he also made it to US Open Qualifiers.

After decades, this is the first time Germany defeated France in the tournament. But the public and Struff attention was drawn to the stadium’s dearth of fans. He expressed his discomfort with the ticket prices that might have not decreased the enthusiasm of tennis fans to watch the tournament live. Not only the tennis ace but also tennis fans around the world mocked the tournament organizers for these scenes.

The group finals will take place in different cities, which also had expensive pricing before. But after the 32-year-old raised a question, the tournament organizers addressed the issue. The organizers have cut down the prices to a reasonable amount for the upcoming matches.

The veteran tennis ace defeated France and achieved a 1-0 lead. In the preliminary round, the 32-year-old had a record-breaking victory in his home country by winning over Benjamin in a three-set close-knit match.
