In one of the most awaited boxing battles, Tyson Fury retained his heavyweight title after defeating Deontay Wilder in 11 rounds. Interestingly, the champion knocked out his opponent and won one of the most important fights of his career. It is because of this reason that many tennis legends, including Andy Murray, have reacted to his victory.

It is for the second time in 20 months that Fury and Wilder were up against each other. Surprisingly, the latter lost on both occasions.

Andy Murray and his brother react to Tyson Fury’s superb win over Deontay Wilder

Fans of Andy Murray are well aware of his interest in boxing. He is a huge fanboy of the sport and loves to watch it whenever he gets some free time. In a tweet, which the British player posted after Fury’s win, he mentioned the possible matches that can take place in the (near) future.

“Would you rather. Fury vs usyk for undisputed and Wilder vs Joshua with winner fighting winner of fury vs usyk or Joshua vs usyk rematch and winner to fight fury?” tweeted Murray.

Just like Murray, his elder brother, Jamie Murray, also follows the sport extensively. As a result, he too expressed his emotions after Fury’s TKO on Wilder.

“Tyson Fury operates on a different level. What a fight,” wrote Jamie in his tweet.

Even after his win, Tyson Fury is not expected to face Usyk or Joshua next. This is because the latter fighter activated a rematch clause. In such a situation, the Gypsy King is likely to face Dillian Whyte, the current WBC interim champion, as his next possible opponent. Will he be able to shine once again in the boxing ring?
