Anything can happen, and the tension is palpable—making it a must-watch for any tennis enthusiast. But the excitement doesn’t stop with the on-court drama. Adding to the buzz, none other than the former German tennis legend Boris Becker made an appearance.
Becker was seen along with his wife Lilian de Carvalho Monteiro in the stands of Uber Arena in Berlin, as Alexander Zverev prepared to take on Frances Tiafoe on Sunday. He was seen sitting beside the co-founder of the Laver Cup and legendary player Roger Federer, who also was accompanied by his wife Mirka Federer. Remember, this is the first tennis tournament that Becker is attending since his recent marriage.
Becker started dating the political risk manager Lilian in 2022 and finally married her on September 14, Saturday in the Italian Coastal town of Portofino. In a three-day-long wedding ceremony, the couple witnessed around 150 attendees which included the likes of ATP Chairman Andrea Gaudenzi, Dutch footballer Ruud Gullit, German actor and model Boris Kodjoe, and Noah.
