Is Roger Federer the most stylish athlete ever with his Rolex at the Laver Cup?

Roger Federer and the word ‘class’ often go hand-in-hand. There’s a good reason for that. After all, the Swiss Maestro has a knack for turning heads with his impeccable résumé, both professionally and aesthetically. He has remained unrivaled in the sport, and so have his watches. This, in turn, has become the reason why he has headlined the Laver Cup.

Merely two years after walking away from the sport, Federer returned to the group event as a spectator. While discussing Team Europe’s chances and apologizing to Carlos Alcaraz for snubbing him, among other things, took significant time out of the Swiss’s schedule, he wasn’t completely oblivious to his fashion etiquette. Notably, Federer was seen rocking one of Rolex’s yet another finest masterpieces in Berlin.

During a press conference, Federer’s latest timepiece casually poked out from under his sleeve. Grabbing attention among enthusiasts, the Swiss watchmaker’s latest hot drop, the black-and-gray GMT-Master II, certainly finessed his wrist. Furthermore, the World No. 1 opted for a jubilee bracelet instead of the highly popular presidential bracelet, known to be the celebrity favorite. For those unaware, this isn’t the first time Federer’s wrist has been adorned with a cool $100,000 watch. The Swiss Maestro has been the watchmaker’s global ambassador since 2006 and, by that virtue, has amassed a laudable collection of Rolex watches. Naturally, being part of their roster has its perks.

Meanwhile, at the Laver Cup, Team Europe finally found their form, thwarting Team World’s hopes of a successful three-peat at the event. Carlos Alcaraz downed Taylor Fritz in straight sets to lift the trophy for Bjorn Borg’s team. Bagging their fifth title, the final score read Team Europe 13-11 against Team World. Moreover, an exciting update might be in the works for fans. And before you guess it, Federer and his arch-rival play a significant role in it.

Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal to team-up as future captains at Laver  Cup

Just when Rafael Nadal’s disappointing last-minute withdrawal from the Laver Cup upset fans, the Spaniard might be preparing something even more exciting. To much amazement, he might have a chance to walk the courts with his arch-rival and close friend, Roger Federer. The Swiss star’s agent, Tony Godsick, recently confirmed that the legendary duo might join forces as future captains of Team Europe.

In this way, they would be longer in office.”
