However, that might not be the case with tennis as the emotion levels are not the same as in soccer.
The Swiss tennis legend, Roger Federer, also believes the sport is not quite as euphoric as soccer. Emphasizing it, the 20 singles Grand Slam champion previously labeled it a shame as he compared the two most-watched sports on the globe.

The former tennis ace was previously featured in an interview with Suisse, in which they asked him about his legion of supporters. Roger Federer detailed how respecting his fans has always been a central value during his illustrious journey on the court. The Swiss tennis Maestro also said it’s important that his supporters and followers don’t insult or debate with the fans of other players like Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal.
Federer has always respected his opponents. He expects his fans to do the same as it’s a core value in the sport. Speaking of it, the 20 singles Grand Slam champion made a slight comparison between tennis and soccer. Federer emphasized that euphoria levels among fans of soccer are more than in tennis. Notably, the 41-year-old called it a shame to not have the same level of excitement in the game.
He said, “Sometimes, tennis may not be quite as euphoric as football. That is a shame, but our sport is strongly connected with decency and respect, which is something that I value very highly.”
However, the Swiss tennis legend believes that there is a lot of decency and respect in tennis when compared to soccer.

In his biography, titled ‘The Master,’ the former tennis ace made a surprising revelation about how he was good at both sports. His parents further gave him the liberty to make his assessment of soccer and tennis, in order to decide his professional path.
Unsurprisingly, Federer decided to take up the game of tennis at the young age of 12. He detailed the reason behind the same. The Swiss tennis legend mentioned that he had much more talent in his hands than his feet as he got inclined towards the tennis court.
