As a new video of him along with his doubles partner, Alexander Bublik, dropped, fans took to social media to have hilarious reactions.

Matches featuring the two aren’t short of drama. They have reached the semifinal of the Italian Open after a nail-biting victory in the last eight. Subsequently, a video went viral on social media where Shelton was celebrating the victory even as Bublik was busy signing the autographs. The American star said, “Yo, what’s up Roma? It’s me and Bublik, Sasha! Yeah, we just won, we’re going to the semis. Let’s get it!”

The video was shared by the official Twitter handle of the Italian Open and attracted the attention of thousands of fans. One of them absolutely loved the pairing and wanted them to win the tournament.

Meanwhile, one of the fans termed the pairing of Shelton and Bublik as a “Chaotic couple,” because the duo often makes things interesting on the court.

Further, one Twitter user also enjoyed watching the two in action and stated, “Bublik and Ben. The killer B’s have Rome JUMPING. Hope to see them play more often.” We certainly hope to see them more in action as well!

On the other hand, one fan gave a reference of the tennis film, Challengers and said, “It’s giving the early part of CHALLENGERS, but on clay.” Aside from Zendaya, the other two characters are played by Mike Faist and Josh O’Connor, who used to best friends before drama tore them apart.

Lastly, one fan was impressed with the doubles skills possessed by the singles duo of Shelton and Bublik. The comment read, “these two’s matches are composed of entertainment and also skill LOL.”

During a light-hearted conversation earlier this year, Coco Gauff was asked about her dream doubles partner. Snubbing the likes of Ben Shelton, she named Rafael Nadal as her dream doubles partner. Reacting to this, Shelton took to social media and jokingly said, “guess I’m not good enough to play mixed with u huh@cocogauff.”

Gauff shared Shelton’s comment on her Instagram story and replied, “no tbh I’m just scared if you hit a 150mph serve in the back of my head. but we’ll play one day.” The American fans will be hoping that this becomes true and the two top singles stars can join hands with each other to bring glory to the nation.
