In a recent revelation, Relevant Tennis introduced the list of the players who had the most followers. It was no doubt that the Serbian legend would have occupied the top spot. Novak stood at the top with a staggering 32.6 million followers. It was approximately 8 times more than what second place holder Carlos Alcaraz had.

Carlos Alcaraz stood with 4.87 million followers. The third spot was occupied by Stefanos Tsitsiapas, who has half of Alcaraz’s following.

Seeing this, Nick Kyrgios laughed at the list. One of the main reasons for the same could be the fact that he was not included in the list. However, when asked about why he reacted, he came up with an answer which not many would have expected.

Nick Kyrgios thinks he has done more for tennis than most of them

Responding to his ‘lol’ comment, a user tweeted that he should not be laughing as he does not make the cut for the top 10 players with the highest followers. Responding to this, Nick Kyrgios said that he wrote the comment because he thinks he has done more towards the sport than many other players who have featured in the list.

Kyrgios also continued by saying that he should not be upset by the comments. Talking about his accolades as a player, he has won 7 ATP titles but has not managed to lay his hands on a grand slam once in his career.
