In his elongated tennis career, filled with victories and losses, Roger Federer always took the loss very positively. In such a way that even Hollywood star, Hugh Jackman was impressed by the Swiss Maestro’s philosophic loss and revealed how the tennis legend reacted to his loss. 

With almost 369 victories, the tennis ace altered his approach to loss on the court. When he was younger, he used to react aggressively to defeat, often swinging his racket on the court to express his displeasure and rage, but with the growing time, the way he handled loss changed a lot of things.

The Australian actor in a conversation with Reader’s Digest magazine shared a conversation he had with the Swiss maestro’s wife, Mirka Federer, on how the tennis star handled loss on the court. Additionally, he also talked about how his philosophy of handling things as a star was very different from his way of dealing with losses.

He said, “She said [that] even after he would lose, he would come home and play table tennis with the kids. He was very philosophical about it all. I’m not quite at that @rogerfederer level.” The best thing in life is to put your stress aside and spend time with your family.

Notably, whether you’re a sports star or a movie actor, handling success is much easier than handling failure in any field. The 54-year-old actor, though, has a soft spot for the 20-time Grand Slam winner, and a few years ago, he was among the first celebrities to accept the former tennis player’s challenge.

Jackman was among the first to reply to Federer’s challenge

The tennis player back in 2020 challenged people to exercise a little at home while they were in quarantine. He also tagged a tennis player and famous people to participate in the challenge.

Even though there are relatively few tennis courts in New York, the Wolverine actor was the first Hollywood actor to accept the challenge and complete the training at-home task in the most amusing way. In addition, the actor continually climbed 15 floors up and down, challenging further celebrities to appear and demonstrate their exercise regimen during the pandemic.

Furthermore, the Australian actor has discreetly observed the Swiss Maestro ace in action and has always admired him for his respect for the game.
