While the fourth-round clash between him and the British tennis player started in full swing and had a competitive atmosphere, both of them wanted to make it to the quarterfinals. In between the match, protesters found a bizarre way to pause the match. Both players were playing on one of the popular Australian Open courts, the Margaret Court. According to the source: “Protest at Margaret Court. The game is stopped due to the throwing of papers onto the court.”

However, at the same time, it wouldn’t be wrong to say that this is the first time they have had the opportunity to witness something like this. Although the reason behind the protest that happened during the match was not clear, the protestors interrupted the match and chucked a load of flyers on the court in front of the whole crowd, players, and everyone present.

However, while the Australian Open security was quite uninterested in stopping her, that is the protester. On the other hand, at the same time, in between the chaos, two members of the crowd stopped her and dragged her out of the court.

When a similar event created chaos before the French Open

In between the exciting clash between Tommy Paul and David Goffin, something happened just after the first set that interrupted the match. Apparently, it was all part of a planned protest as a speculator started shouting something in French, because of which the players had to walk out of the court.

However, despite the disturbance, the security guard was quite quick to react, while the umpire and other officials tried to resolve the issue at the same time. Not only that, but even the entire stadium started booing at the spectator for his act, and he eventually decided to walk off the court, and the ATP Challenger Tour game resumed after a brief halt.
