He explained the cause of his recent withdrawal in these words, “During my comeback, I experienced some pain in my wrist during the week of Mallorca. As a precaution, I had it scanned, and it came back showing a torn ligament in my wrist.” This is the third injury Kyrgios suffered since his withdrawal from the Australian Open.

He withdrew from the French Open as well. The fans felt that it was the same knee injury that made him opt out of the Roland Garros. But his manager Daniel Horsfall later revealed that the star had suffered yet another injury. According to him, robbers held his mother at gunpoint to steal his Tesla electric car. Further, he said that the star didn’t know how he hurt his foot in the meantime.
It is the third injury plaguing the 2023 season of Kyrgios. But his resilient spirit and his girlfriend‘s support may well help him to be back on courts soon with limitless entertainment.
