Now, having already excelled at tennis, the 27-year-old has jokingly indicated about his intention to enter a new sport.
Kyrgios has recently revealed how he is excited to get into the boxing ring. While talking about it, the bad boy of tennis also said he would like to get in the ring with someone from the tennis realm. Here’s what Kyrgios said about his interest in boxing.

The Australian tennis player is quite active on social media as he recently conducted a Q and A session on his Instagram stories. A lot of fans were excited to question Kyrgios about his interest in different activities. Meanwhile, one of the fans asked him if he would ever get in the ring for a fight with someone.
Answering this question, the 27-year-old said he is very much intrigued by the idea, and would ideally like to fight someone from the tennis community. He also suggested that his boxing fight will have the potential to sell very well among the audience.
Just like on the tennis court, Kyrgios is quite certain to attract a large audience while taking up a different sport, as he will be the ‘draw card’. He said, “Yeah….I would. I would take 90% of the cut since I’d be the draw card… Couple people I’d get in the ring with from the tennis world.”

Kyrgios is also inclined towards another sport
During the Q and A session on his Instagram story, Kyrgios also shared a video clip in which he was spotted showcasing his amazing basketball skills. The Australian tennis player talked about some of the most popular NBA teams with his fans. One of the fans asked him, “Why won’t the Celtics ever be better than the lakers??”
Answering this question, the controversial tennis star said, “Hahahahahah this question is,” with a blue cap emoji. Prior to this, Kyrgios also had a conversation with his fellow ATP player, Frances Tiafoe, over his participation in the NBA All-Star Celebrity Game. He was quite skeptical about Tiafoe replacing him at the renowned basketball event.
