With the form that Ben Shelton is in, there are high chances that he could lay his hands on victory this time around as well. His recent victory at the Japan Open will give him some much-needed confidence to try and emerge victorious in the first round as well.

Also, his head-to-head lead against Sinner will provide him an extra edge. However, his win against Sinner won’t come easy. As far as Sinner is concerned, he is also in strong form and would not let Shelton get the win easily.
