In a recent interview, Jannik Sinner came ahead and shed light on the times when he has played against some of the toughest matches on the court. However, it was not the question that caught everyone’s attention, it was the humility and the patience with which Sinner dealt with his young fan. When a 12-year-old fan asked Jannik Sinner about his most challenging matches, he shared that every match against a new player is tough because you never know what to expect. Sinner, known for his humility, patiently listened to the young fan.

He pointed out that playing against Rafael Nadal in Paris at Roland Garros for the first time and facing Novak Djokovic in Monte Carlo without any previous encounters were particularly difficult for him. While the fan did not have his hands set on the English language, Sinner waited patiently and listened to everything that he had to ask him.

“So, I had some really difficult ones I think every time I play against a new player is really difficult because sometimes you don’t know what to expect. For me, personally, the most difficult was the first time I played Rafa in Paris at Roland Garros and then the first time with Novak was very difficult and I think it was in Monte Carlo,” said Sinner while answering the question that the young fan asked.

Thus, by openly discussing these challenges, Sinner not only shared his experiences but also showed his down-to-earth attitude to the young fan. This highlighted that even successful players like him face tough moments on the tennis court.
