After conquering his record 24th Grand Slam at the US Open, he etched his name in the history books as he joined the likes of Margaret Court. On the other hand, his opponent, Tomas Martin Etcheverry has had a season of quite a few ups and downs. His notable highlights of the year include final appearances at the Chile Open, the ATP Houston Open, and at the Challenger Bordeaux.

Adding to this, he also made a semi-final appearance at the Austrian Open while managing to make his way through to the quarter-finals of the French Open. Coming into Paris, he will be looking to make sure that he gives his everything on the court while stunning title favorites.

With a chance to further extend his lead, Djokovic would give in his everything. On the other hand, his Argentinean rival would be desperate to equal the head-to-head stats between the two with a win here in Paris.

Prediction: Novak Djokovic to take the win home in straight sets

Playing his first match at the Paris Masters, all the eyes will be on Novak Djokovic as he will be looking to start his campaign at the Paris Masters on a high. At the moment, the reigning World No. 1 looks to be in a sweeter spot to land the win home. Not only this, but the Djoker could very well land the win in straight sets.
