Christopher Eubanks takes on Australia’s Aleksandar Vukic in the QF of the 2024 Hall of Fame Tennis Championships. Fourth-seeded Eubanks got a bye in the first round and then defeated his compatriot Ethan Quinn in the second round to make it into the QF. Vukic on the other hand is entering the match after two emphatic triumphs in his previous matches in Newport. He defeated another American, Eliot Spizzirri in the R16. His best record this season has been reaching the QF at the Halle Open. Currently ranked 128, he has shown a fair bit of resilience in defeating Quinn. Aleksandar Vukic on the other hand has been in decent form this year, he has reached two SFs and two QFs before this tournament. The Australian defeated Spizzirri by 6-2, 7-6(3) in the R16. Looking at their current forms and their previous records in the H2H, we can jump to only one conclusion. However, we have seen quite a few surprises in tennis though and Christopher Eubanks is more than capable of coming up with a surprise, but Vukic will have the upper hand here this time. The Aussie has a win-loss record of 14-18 this season compared to Christopher Eubanks’ 7-16. Although Eubanks has showcased his potential several times on this surface, it would be a tough ask for him to topple the in-form Aussie.

Eubanks can dictate the play with his big serves and aggressive baseline game. He has a strong forehand and tends to come up to the nets to finish off points. Vukic on the other hand, will have to reduce the number of unforced errors to avoid giving any undue advantage to the American. Vukic will heavily rely on his powerful forehands to seal the deal in this intriguing contest!
