Both players have struggled to leave their mark in the Slams and ATP 1000 tournaments in the past. But given their current performances, Giron has a better chance of coming out on top. Sonego fumbled in the Paris Masters, while Giron managed to advance to Round two. With his win, he seems to have a better chance of moving on to round two of the tournament and going 1-0 up in their Head-to-Head statistics.
