While most of the questions were related to Berrettini’s routine, one question caught the audience by surprise. It was whether the Italian player was in a relationship or not. The little girl told Berrettini that she didn’t want to know the answer, but all the Mexican women, including her mom’s friends, wanted to know. Berrettini couldn’t control his laughter, as he adorably responded to the little girl, saying “I don’t think it’s all the women, it’s impossible.”

The little girl also told Berrettini that her mother’s friends had asked her to say “hi” to the ATP star. The Italian expressed his delight upon hearing that and left a warm greeting for the ladies with his admirable charm. But answering the original question, he made it clear that he didn’t have a girlfriend.

While it made things clear about Berrettini’s current relationship status, the way he answered the kids’ questions also highlighted what a humble human being he is. After his separation from his former girlfriend, Berrettini recently revealed his professional goals as well.

In an interview with an Italian newspaper Ia Repubblica, Berrettini revealed his separation from the supermodel Melissa Satta. “Melissa Satta and I are no longer together. What I can say is that we had a beautiful, intense relationship, we have great respect for each other. I won’t go beyond this, I don’t like sharing my private life too much,” the ATP star said.

Talking about Berrettini’s professional life, he suffered injuries throughout last year. The Italian withdrew from the Australian Open this year as well due to a foot injury. As a result, he has slipped in the ATP rankings majorly and now requires to play qualifiers for major tournaments. However, he is looking to bounce back. “I’m focusing on my return to the court. The past few months have been complicated. I want to enjoy tennis again,” Berrettini said.
