Fans can’t keep quiet as the latest edition of the Estoril Open has featured some high-octane matches at the sports complex of Clube de Ténis do Estoril in Cascais. Casper Ruud has now clinched another straight-set win, 6-3, 6-2, against his unseeded Hungarian colleague Márton Fucsovics, as he has secured a place in the semis.

Pedro Martínez, on the other hand, is coming to the Estoril Open as an unseeded participant and he defeated the German Daniel Altmaier in his opening round match. The Spaniard then overcame his compatriot Roberto Bautista Agut in straight sets before he recently breezed past the Frenchman Richard Gasquet with a score of 6-4, 6-4.
Ruud vs. Martínez: Head-to-Head
The semifinal between Casper Ruud and Pedro Martínez at this season’s outdoor clay-court event will also mark their second meeting on the men’s tour. In their previous encounter at the 2021 Generali Open, the Norwegian player defeated the Spaniard in a three-set game and he currently has a 1-0 lead in their H2H record.
