Shelton will be entering this contest following his defeat to the eventual champion Jannik Sinner in the SF of the 2025 AO.

While Aleksandar Vukic will enter this contest following his defeat to Jack Draper (GBR) in the third round of the 2025 AO. Draper defeated Vukic by a five-set thriller in that epic R3 clash! If we take a look at some of Vukic’s best performances on the Tour last season, then apart from some of his QF runs, his incredible performances at the Eastbourne International and the Almaty Open will definitely get a special mention. He reached the SF at both of these tournaments. Vukic was in fact defeated by another American, Taylor Fritz in the SF of the Eastbourne International by 6(5)-7,6(4)-7.
