Emilio Nava has entered the ATP Challenger event in Champaign, Illinois, United States, as the third seed. The 21-year-old has been in incredible form, given his recent campaign at the Knoxville Challenger, where he secured a semifinal finish. Nava breezed past the likes of Nino Serdarušić and Murphy Cassone in the opening round fixtures of the indoor hard court event. Later, the American tennis prodigy also swept aside his compatriot, Zachary Svajda, in straight sets, 6-4, 6-4, in the quarterfinal match.

Ethan Quinn, on the other hand, is participating at the Champaign–Urbana Challenger as an unseeded player. The 19-year-old previously failed to make any significant impression at the Knoxville Challenger, where he faced a first-round defeat. However, Quinn enjoyed a spectacular run at the Charlottesville Challenger, having reached the semifinal round after prevailing in his matchups against top-seed opponents like Benoît Paire and Emilio Nava.

Quinn vs Nava: Head-to-Head Record

The American tennis prodigies, whose head-to-head record is now locked at 1-1, will square off for the third time in Champaign. Both of the previous meetings between Quinn and Nava took place this season only as they locked horns at two Challenger Tour events.

The 21-year-old has already made a notable impression on the big tour as he qualified for a number of ATP events, including his home Grand Slam event, the US Open. Given his vast experience in the men’s circuit and his current seeding, Nava will likely brush aside his compatriot and move closer to the latter stages of the Challenger Champaign.
