Legendary Spanish sports presenter Pepe Domingo Castaño is no more. After working in radio for 60 years, the sports journalist passed away at the age of 80. After the sad demise of the legendary presenter, the 22-time Grand Slam champion, Rafael Nadal, expressed his sorrow at losing such a well-known name.

While the 37-year-old tennis legend is off the circuit, he is connected on social media with his fans and other sections of the sport. And now, when the sad news was released, he expressed his condolences.

After hearing the shocking news from Madrid, the former world number one took to his Twitter account to pay his condolences to the popular and well-known 80-year-old Spanish television producer. While Castaño was known for his amazing voice on the radio, he was also well-known for the sports knowledge that he carried as a Spanish personality.

The veteran presenter was not only one of the recognised voices on Spanish radio, but during the last few decades, he has also worked as the main protagonist of the Cadena SER sports carousel, a popular sporting channel. Additionally, he has worked on numerous radio and television programs, created a platform for up-and-coming artists, and imparted his experience to the next generation.
