Former American tennis player Jim Courier voiced the video, which looked and sounded genuinely emotional. In that video, the Hall of Famer said, “Rafael Nadal will leave this tunnel, walk out onto this and maybe and just maybe step onto history. He will come to his chair, meticulously places water bottles, and adjust his bandana.“
“When he arrives at the baseline, behind him an incredible 20 Major titles. In front of him, something no man has done before, win his 21st,” Courier further said in his aesthetic voice.

The 4-time Grand Slam champion also talked about Nadal‘s past achievements and his unmatchable fighting spirit. “He sees the minute details and pieces them together to make the best competitor I have seen in tennis ever. It’s key to understanding who he is. Every point he plays as if it was his last,” he added.
Nadal exceeded expectations at the Australian Open 2022
Before the start of the tournament, nobody gave the Spaniard a chance as he was making his return on the tour after a long injury layoff. Even in the final, many experts and pundits were favoring Medvedev over Nadal. In the match, Nadal looked defeated in the first two sets, as the Russian steamrolled the Spaniard. However, Nadal came back into the match after showing tremendous grit and determination.

After losing the first two sets, Nadal won the next three sets to win the match 2-6,6-7,6-4,6-4,7-5 in 5 hours and 24 minutes. After winning the Grand Slam trophy for the second time in his career, Nadal looked visibly emotional. As Jim Courier said in the video, the best competitor he has ever seen in tennis, Nadal certainly proved him right once again.
After winning his 21st Grand Slam title, he won his 22nd as well at the French Open, his favorite Major event out of all the events. Currently, the Spaniard is vying for his 23rd Major at the US Open, where he is undoubtedly the favorite.
