But this time not for a tennis match against each other, but for a Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessy promotional campaign with a vision including both the tennis greats. While just a glimpse featuring Federer and Nadal has made its way to social media, tennis fans are amazed and shocked simultaneously, with such a big surprise on board.

Both the tennis greats are the stars of a $425 billion campaign that Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessy (LVMH) launched. In addition to using their celebrity power, the partnership mirrored LVMH’s deeply embedded mission: “We do not love or praise in vain.”  

By collaborating with two of the most recognizable athletes in history, LVMH sought to go above conventional marketing and establish a strong customer bond. They aimed to communicate a message of sincere gratitude and regard with this promotion, which was consistent with their basic ideals of creativity, quality, and classic style.

Not only that, a video featuring all the behind-the-scenes activities, including the tender moment between the two tennis giants, was shared on social media. In the video, both of them looked compatible working out with each other; this is the first time that they have done a campaign promotion together, and that too for Louis Vuitton in the snow.

Tennis enthusiasts are giddy with anticipation after watching the most recent promo glimpse. But a truly recognized moment happened during the 2022 Laver Cup when Roger Federer held Rafael Nadal’s hand. This gesture still has a permanent place in the hearts of supporters everywhere. That same year, the 20-time Grand Slam champion acknowledged the moment’s significance in an interview with the New York Times, calling it a “secret thank you” to his longtime friend and competitor.

He stated, “I guess at one point, just because obviously I couldn’t speak and the music was there, I guess I just touched him, and I guess it’s maybe a secret thank you. I don’t know what it was, but for me, that’s maybe what it was and how it felt and some pictures came out of it. A true ‘Fedal’ fan came forward and talked about their evergreen chemistry that has previously ruled the tennis court and now is ready to take center stage with the Louis Vuitton advertisement. “Are you kidding me this chemistryyyyyy we’re so back.” 

On the other hand, another X user, rather than looking into the players, went into detail about the backdrop and even found a proper analysis of what it looked like.  He wrote, “what in the brokeback mountain is this, lol.”

But it was their fans who made most of the comments on the post, sharing their excitement over watching them together, after their beautiful 2022 Laver Cup moment. He stated, “Am I supposed to be normal about this help?!?!”

In addition, a fan tagged them as “Legends!!!” and shared his admiration for both of them. Both the players together have created an era, winning 42 Grand Slam titles in total and giving the tennis world a lot of moments to be proud of, on and off the tennis court.

Lastly, a fan was literally losing his mind with millions of questions running around. He wrote, “How? When? Why? What? I am this 🤏🏽  close to losing my mind.” Even though tennis fans are obviously anticipating the precise promotional film with the two of them together, it will be intriguing to see how the final outcomes turn out.
