According to various medical reports, lip cancer can occur anywhere along the upper or lower lip. However, it’s more common on the lower side of the lip. The treatment for this usually requires surgeries and going through the face laser can make this skin look inflamed and red. Seeing this, one of the curious fans wrote, “What happened to Andy’s face?

Fans have never seen Andy Roddick like this ever before. There were several such comments asking, “What happened to your face?” If Roddick hadn’t clarified the exact reason behind this in the podcast, then there would have been several other speculations in the minds of the fans.

As per the US Centers for Disease Control, most skin cancers are caused by too much exposure to UV light. UV rays can cause severe damage to the skin. Another worried fan commented, “Andy man that cancer is no joke bro. Be on this.” Clearly, the worrisome faces of his fans were portrayed through these comments.

Several fans speculated a lot of different things. Some of them said that those red spots on his may be due to laser treatments. “Well, I think he had some spots lasered off.”

Another fan suggested that he should look into a fruit named Soursop, which is mainly found in the warm and tropical regions of America. It’s rich in Vitamin C and it acts as an antioxidant to the body. “Soursop please look into it, Andy. It’s a fruit that kills cancer cells.

However, Andy Roddick isn’t the only tennis star who recently underwent a cancer scare. Martina Navratilova, Chris Evert, and Carla Suárez Navarro have been some of the prominent fighters of this deadly disease. However, Andy Roddick also made an impromptu Public Service Announcement during the podcast.
