In 1998, shortly after Roger Federer’s victory in the Wimbledon junior title, he received a main draw wild card to compete at the Swiss Indoors Basel. This was a remarkable opportunity for the young Swiss talent, who had previously been a ball boy at the very same tournament. However, fate had another twist in store for Federer.

On that day in 1998, Roger Federer faced none other than the former world No.1, Andre Agassi.
