Andre Agassi’s funky hairstyle gets his daughter’s approval
The American tennis legend recently took to his Instagram account to share a picture of himself displaying his fashion sense, just like in the old days, with his funky hairstyle. Along with that, he wrote, “Thinking of you 🇦🇺👋🏼 @60minutes.” Subsequently, he also got his daughter, Jazz Agassi, approval as she was among the first ones to like the post, along with other tennis fans who missed his hairstyle.

The eight-time Grand Slam champion appeared in the 60-minute Australia show alongside his wife, where he talked about his journey of acing tennis and entering the pickleball arena. For this, the former world number one got back to his popular hairstyle of the time.
On the other hand, coaches and tennis players also shared their reactions to the same. Popular Australian tennis coach, Darren Cahill, sarcastically applauded the hairstyle, and wrote, “Hahaha… this looks eeriely good,” Moreover, even Serena Williams’ ex-coach, Rennae Stubbs, dropped three laughing emojis in the comment section, sharing her take on the mullet. In addition, the 36-year-old, Matthew Ebden was happy to see the hairstyle, and he wrote, “Yeah boy 🤙🇭🇲.”

While everyone around him is happy to see the funky hairstyle back, nearly a month ago, the 53-year-old American tennis star himself joked about having the best hairstyle and revealed his original mohawk story.

Agassi jokes about having the best mullet
A few weeks ago, the eight-time Grand Slam champion talked about his famous hairstyle in a commercial and highlighted how it was one of the best mullets in the ’80s and ’90s. He said, “No question, I had the best mullet you know. You know how many mullets I see here now they’re not even close. I went to the barber one day and I was like “Give me a mohawk” so it started as a Mohawk.”

Humorously, he also emphasized the fact that today’s mullet does not even come close to the one that he had during his time. Not only that, he also disclosed that originally it was intended to be a mohawk, but turned out to be something different, which became a hit later on.
