Andre Agassi, the tennis veteran, had an excellent career. However, in contrast, his personal life faced some serious ups and downs. The eight-time Grand Slam champion who was famous for his on-court temper allegedly brought his issues back home. Therefore, Brooke Shields, Agassi’s former wife, walked out of the marriage.

Though now she doesn’t seem to have the lingering ill feelings from the failed union. As recently, she posed beneath the tennis legend’s poster and placed it in the collection of her social media pictures.

Shields pokes fun at herself

Brooke Shields, while entering the premise of the US Open for the finals clash between the World no.1 Iga Swiatek and the Tunisian star Ons Jabeur, stumbled upon Agassi’s poster. As a response to which, she captured a pictured and jokingly wrote. “You never know who you’ll run into at the US Open.”

The actress rose to fame after starring in Louis Malle’s film Pretty Baby, showed up in a super stylish all white dress. She dolled herself with a fitted vest top and linen trousers. Further, the 57-year-old elegantly matched her attire with oversized sunglasses and a collection of bangles.

Agassi tied the knot with Shields in the year 1997 and after 2 years, they decided to part ways. Following that, the former World no.1 found his soulmate in the 22-time Grand Slam champion Steffi Graf.

The German tennis ace who received a marriage proposal at Wimbledon exchanged vows with the four times Australian Open champion in the year 2001. Now, after over 2 decades of marriage, they are parents to the 20-year-old baseball pitcher/ third baseman Jaden Gil Agassi and 18-year-old Jaz Elle Agassi.

Andre Agassi post retirement

The four-time Australian Open champion said goodbye to professional tennis in the year 2006. Thereafter, he returned to the sport as the coach of the 21-time Grand Slam champion Novak Djokovic. He worked alongside the Serbian from 2017 to 2018 and then teamed up with the Bulgarian Grigor Dimitrov.

Speaking of his work apart from tennis. The 52-year-old soon after his retirement founded the Andre Agassi charitable foundation with an aim to help at-risk children. He raised tons of funds to help children at Nevada with their education and future.
