Andre Agassi was hapless when he started going bald at the age of 19. Recently fans teased and made fun of his hairstyle after an old picture of him with Bjorn Borg resurfaced on the internet.
According to his autobiography, Open, Andre Agassi considered his hair as his trademark feature and a safety blanket. However, the long, tapered hair that he wore in the late 80s and the early 90s appears to have been a wig.

Fans mock Andre Agassi for his trademark hairstyle
Agassi started losing his natural hair before entering his thirties and this forced him to replace his natural locks with polished bangs. In 1995, Andre Agassi shaved his head and embraced his baldness.

He shared with his fans that he had never felt more freedom in his life. Andre Agassi’s newfound freedom helped him achieve greater success than before. He won six more Grand Slam titles and an Olympic gold medal. Now he is considered one of the best players in the history of tennis.
Recently, an old photo of Agassi with the legendary tennis player Bjorn Borg resurfaced on Twitter. Fans teased Agassi when they saw him sporting a signature hairstyle of that era in his childhood.

Agassi has won eight Grand Slam titles and a ‘Career Grand Slam’ for winning each of the four Grand Slam tournaments: Wimbledon, Australian Open, French Open and US Open at least once.

Agassi lost a major Grand Slam final because of his wig
The former Wimbledon champion Andre Agassi wore a lion hair wig in the 1990s to cover up his baldness. But his wig started to fall apart in the shower the night before the final of the French Open in 1990. Agassi said he wore a held-down wig with bobby pins during his first Grand Slam final.
