The previous year was gratifying for the 22-time Grand Slam champion professionally and personally as he won two Grand Slam titles and welcomed his first baby in October. However, this year is turning out to be a downer. A halt in his professional career because of his injuries was disheartening enough for the Spaniard when again the unfortunate loss of a family member added to his woes. Both he and his wife Mery Perello are going through a rough time as the news has surfaced.
