John McEnroe‘s initiative to raise funds for youth sports has been acknowledged and joined by an Olympian. McEnroe is attending the 31st annual RBC JCC Sports Dinner to inspire the guests. This is one of the famous sports fundraising dinners and will be hosted in Vancouver. However, McEnroe will be accompanied by a former Olympian in freestyle skiing from Vernon.
The guest list has already attracted a lot of fans to the event. Scholarship holders and program-enlisted candidates of JCC from exclusively Vancouver are allowed to experience this amazing opportunity. The former world champion of Big Air, Elena Gaskell is the other guest along with John McEnroe. She felt truly excited to be a part of this objective. Gaskell said, “It was a great experience, meeting so many sports fans who are also really passionate about supporting community-level recreation in BC. During the reception, there was also a very competitive game of giant Jenga, with hundreds watching – which I won of course!”
Gaskell also expressed her excitement about meeting John McEnroe. She further said, “Last year I shared a stage with Rob Gronkowski, so I think I’ll be ready for John McEnroe, They’re both big personalities so it will be a lot of fun.”

Vernon’s former World Champion will go through a knee surgery this Friday for an injury she sustained last month while training. Now, Gaskell is trying to take things a bit slow. However, this Olympian skier is excited to click pictures with people and help the event be a fulfilling one.
John McEnroe loses to Andre Agassi and Steffi Graf on Pickleball’s second Slam
Tennis legend John McEnroe suffered another failure at the Pickleball Slam this year against Andre Agassi and his talented wife Steffi Graf. The tennis couple defeated McEnroe and his partner Maria Sharapova by 11-7,13-11 to bag the $1 million cash prize and took a funky guitar trophy home. Despite playing the Slam, McEnroe spoke about tennis being his first love. He commented-“To me, tennis is always the king. But it’s easy to play this. That’s why my friends play with me all the time, But the better the level [of competition], you better practice.”
