The Monte Carlo Masters 2021 concluded successfully with Stefanos Tsitsipas emerging as the winner. However, there are plenty of tournaments ahead and fans will soon watch many of the players competing at the Serbian Open 2021. Interestingly, World No.1 Novak Djokovic will also exhibit his skills at the tournament.

In a recent interview, Serbian player Filip Krajinovic talked exclusively about Novak Djokovic. He stated that he is looking forward to playing at the Serbian Open 2021 and is quite fortunate that the Serbian legend is also playing there.

“We all know who Novak is, I am happy that we have a tournament in Belgrade where we can all play. I’m looking forward to him being a part of this tournament, as well,” said Krajinovic during the media day before his match.

The World No.33 player is really happy because Djoker is also playing at the tournament this time. He also praised the management for organizing the tournament in Belgrade and is surely quite excited to play there.

Krajinovic reiterated that he is quite cheerful to play a tournament in his motherland. He mentioned that it is really rare to see so many Serbian players in one draw at the tournament. Since the tournament is in Belgrade, Serbia, many Serbian players like Novak Djokovic, Miomir Kecmanovic, and Filip Krajoniic himself are all playing there.

“I am happy to be in Belgrade, it is rare to see so many of our players in one draw. I’m looking forward to this tournament,” added the 29-year-old player.

Filip Krajinovic will play his first match against Italy’s Stefano Travaglia at the Serbian Open 2021. The Serbian will surely want to leave a mark and impress his fans at the tournament. There are chances that he might even face Novak Djokovic in the tournament. Will Krajinovic be able to win the title in his home this year?
